About the Journal PUBLICATION INFORMATION ESSN: 1846-0453 ISSN: 0001-5113 Impact factor for 2024 = 0.6 Acta Adriatica is diamond open access, peer-reviewed international journal published continuously since 1932 by the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries. The journal publishes scientific papers on all aspects of marine sciences, preferably from the Mediterranean region. Acta Adriatica covers a broad range of topics related to the Mediterranean Sea, including: Biological, chemical and physical oceanography Marine ecology and biodiversity Fisheries and aquaculture Environmental and climate change including modelling Conservation biology and marine environmental management Marine geology All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editors, and, if found in accordance with the journal's scope and of acceptable content, to subsequent peer review by anonymous expert referees. All peer review is single blind and submission is online via Open Journal Systems software. Upon acceptance of the manuscript, authors must transfer copyright to the publisher. Contributions are published in online first format and later included in regularly printed issues (two issues published per year).
