Aims & Scope

The international journal of the Polish Pharmaceutical Society is published in 6 issues a year. The journal offers Open Access publication of original research papers, short communications and reviews written in English, in all areas of pharmaceutical sciences. Aims: The aim of Acta Poloniae Pharmaceutica is to present both Polish and global scientific achievements in pharmaceutical sciences. The journal also focuses on raising important topics in pharmaceutical legislation to encourage greater integration of the Polish and foreign pharmaceutical environments. Scope: The Acta Poloniae Pharmaceutica – Drug Research includes experimental scientific and review articles that cover advancements in pharmaceutical sciences, including applied pharmacy, drug formulation technology, pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacognosy, pharmacoeconomics, toxicology, and social pharmacy. These topics are organized into several sections: analysis, biopharmacy, drug biochemistry, drug synthesis, natural drugs, pharmacology, pharmaceutical technology, food and nutrition, and general (review).

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
