Aims & Scope
Český lid / Czech Ethnological Journal is a leading Czech scientific peer-reviewed journal (founded in 1891). It is published by the Institute of Ethnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague, and is published in print and online in diamond Open Access mode. It publishes quality professional articles from the field of ethnology and sociocultural anthropology, as well as interdisciplinary texts with an appropriate theoretical and methodological focus, primarily in Czech, Slovak, and English. The journal contains quality professional articles from the field of ethnology and sociocultural anthropology, as well as interdisciplinary works with an appropriate theoretical and methodological focus; texts are published primarily in Czech, English, and Slovak. Each issue also features a wide range of reports, book reviews, and discussions (in sections without peer review). Proposals for thematically focused issues (or sections) of the journal are welcome.
