Aims & Scope

Económica is a general interest scientific journal, with continuous publication frequency, founded in 1953 and edited by the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the National University of La Plata. Through a process of anonymous peer review with external referees, Económica publishes articles of academic excellence in all fields of economics. Its mission is to disseminate among the academic community the research work of academics related to the study of economics and related disciplines. The National University of La Plata, the main environment in which the journal is published, supports the open access movement to knowledge as a common good, so the publication provides immediate and complete access to all its content and its editions have no charges for authors or readers.
