Experimental Mechanics is a journal focusing on novel experiments to characterize the mechanics of materials, structures, and systems. The journal’s coverage includes experimental mechanics at both large and small scales and extends to fields at the intersection of disciplines including physics, chemistry, and biology. The journal aims to be the voice of the worldwide experimental mechanics community and to amplify the impact of novel research. Welcomes research papers, review articles, and brief technical notes on emerging mechanics and materials technologies of high societal impact. Topics of interest span a wide range of experimental methods and applications. Papers on experimental mechanics applied to bio- and nanotechnologies, single cells, tissues, and biosystems are encouraged.
