Geofísica Internacional es una revista científica arbitrada, de acceso abierto y de publicación trimestral, editada por el Instituto de Geofísica de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), bajo el auspicio de la Unión Geofísica Mexicana. Desde su creación en 1961, su misión ha sido difundir conocimiento científico original, de alta calidad y relevancia internacional, relacionado con el estudio de la Tierra, sus procesos y su entorno. El objetivo principal es publicar artículos originales de investigación relacionados con el estudio de la Tierra y su entorno, con especial énfasis en trabajos relacionados con Latinoamérica, sin excluir contribuciones de otras regiones del mundo. La revista aborda temas de las geociencias, particularmente en el campo de la geofísica, e incluye investigaciones en disciplinas afines como la geología, la geoquímica, energía y otras áreas relacionadas con las ciencias de la Tierra. Es una revista de Acceso Abierto que lleva una rigurosa revisión por pares y acepta artículos en español y en inglés, y no hace cargos por publicar (sin APC).
