Aims & Scope

About the Journal ISSN: 0016-7789 E-ISSN: 1854-620X Aim and Scope Geologija is a scientific Slovenian geological journal. It has been published since 1953. It has an international editorial board. Contributions cover the fields of regional geology, stratigraphy, palaeontology, sedimentology, petrology, mineralogy, mineral deposits, geophysics, hydrogeology, environment protection, geochemistry, geohazards, seismology, geoinformatics and related topics. Peer Review Process All submitted manuscripts are reviewed by at least two reviewers. When submitting their paper, authors can suggest three reviewers. However, the editorial office retains the sole right to choose the reviewer for a particular manuscript. Indexing The journal is indexed in Scopus , Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ) , GeoRef , CAPlus (Chemical Abstracts) , PASCAL , Zoological record in EBSCOhost . Publication Frequency The journal is published twice a year. Open Access Policy and Copyright Statement Geologija is an open access journal. Authors agree that their articles published in Geologija are open access under the licence CC BY 4.0 . Authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions (© Author(s)). Publisher Geological Survey of Slovenia Financing Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS) Geological Survey of Slovenia Article processing charges As a diamond open access journal, Geologija does not collect any submission charges or article processing charges (APC) on published articles. The publication of Geologija is funded by the Geological Survey of Slovenia and financially supported by the Slovenian Research Agency (ARRS). Published articles are not eligible for a fee. Archiving Geologija is committed to keep all published articles available at all times. Published articles are uploaded to the journal’s own website and also to the portal Digital library of Slovenia – dLib and from the year 2022 on to DiRROS repository (Digital repository of Slovenian research
