Aims & Scope

GRBS is a scholarly journal devoted to the culture and history of Greece from Antiquity to the Renaissance. Significant research articles are invited on all aspects of the Hellenic world from prehistoric antiquity through the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine periods, including studies of modern classical scholarship. Articles concerned primarily with Latin or the western Mediterranean are excluded. GRBS does not publish book reviews or archaeological or museum reports. Only in unusual cases can submissions longer than ca. 10,000 words (including notes) be considered.
