Pflügers Archiv - European Journal of Physiology is the official journal of the German Physiological Society, publishing high-quality original research in physiology and pathophysiology. Covers the physiological sciences in their broadest sense. Includes pathophysiological and methodological issues relevant to physiological investigation. Welcomes papers linking genomic and proteomic approaches to physiological functions. Encourages articles describing work on the mechanistic phenotyping of transgenic animal models. Also considers papers reporting negative results of broad interest.
