Psychologica Belgica
Ubiquity Press · United Kingdom
Aims & Scope
Psychologica Belgica is the official journal of the Belgian Association for Psychological Sciences (BAPS) founded in 1954. BAPS promotes the development of both fundamental and applied psychological sciences.Psychologica Belgica publishes peer-reviewed, fully open access, scientific contributions to all domains of psychology. The Editorial Board members come from a wide range of psychology domains, working in Belgium and in other countries. We invite empirical notes and regular empirical articles that address psychology from a variety of approaches and methods, both quantitative and qualitative. We also welcome integrative reviews of a particular domain within psychology, and contributions that incorporate a range of perspectives from areas within psychology or other related disciplines. Most articles are unsolicited submissions, however special collections and issues on specific, timely topics, are also encouraged, which are typically edited by a Guest Editor. In 2018, the journal moved from publishing four issues per year to publishing one continuous volume and issue throughout the year. Articles are made available as soon as they are ready to ensure that there are no unnecessary delays in getting content publicly available. Special collections of articles are welcomed and will be published as part of the normal issue, but also within a separate collection page. See ourspecial collections guidelinesfor more information. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. There is no embargo on the journal’s publications. Submission and acceptance dates, along with publication dates, are made available on the PDF format for each paper.
