Aims & Scope

Since its inception, the journal Studii şi cercetări de istoria artei. Teatru, Muzică, Cinematografie is dedicated to advancing research in the history of Romanian and European theatre, music and cinema. Our aim is to highlight art practices in their cultural and historical contexts, as well as to further the understanding of local art movements within European tradition. SCIA.TMC features research papers and critical essays; it also includes shorter articles ( Notes ) that convey preliminary results of recent research, book reviews, theatre and film reviews.
