Aims & Scope
The journal publishes the results of original theoretical and experimental research on the physiology and pathophysiology of higher nervous activity, as well as the general physiology of the brain and analyzers. The journal also aims to cover the connection of higher nervous activity with philosophy, psychology, pedagogy, and biology. The journal publishes review and critical articles, reviews, and reports on scientific sessions and conferences. The journal is intended for a wide range of researchers, postgraduate students, faculty of higher education institutions, senior students of philosophy, biology, and medical faculties, as well as doctors and teachers. The journal is peer-reviewed and is included in the VAK List for the publication of works by applicants for academic degrees. Since 2008, it has been included in the system of RSCI, Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed. It is published by OOO "IKTs "Akademkniga". The journal publishes experimental, theoretical, and review articles on neurophysiology and pathophysiology of higher nervous activity of humans and animals in Russian and English, previously unpublished anywhere. The journal has sections: brief communications, reviews, theoretical and discussion articles; physiology of human higher nervous (cognitive) activity; physiological mechanisms of animal behavior (perception of external stimuli, motor activity, learning and memory); experimental pathology of higher nervous activity; neurobiophotonics and neurogenetics; cellular neurophysiology; neurophilosophy; methodology.
