ACTA is a bilingual (English and Italian), broad-scoped journal covering a wide range of topics related to archeology, art, and cultural history of the pre- and early modern world, often, but not necessarily related to Rome, Italy, and the Mediterranean. ACTA has an emphasis on material and visual culture. Contributions deal with empirical, methodological, theoretical, and interpretative questions. ACTA encourages the submission of articles, proposals for special issues. The series of supplement volumes may also include monographs.
