Aims & Scope
The journal "Studia Rossica Posnaniensia" publishes original scientific articles contributing to the development of research in the fields of linguistics and literary studies, with a particular emphasis on literary and cultural comparative studies. We are interested in new interpretive proposals and innovative methodologies for studying Russian-language literatures. Our goal is to publish texts whose authors place Russian-language language and literature in the broader context of Eastern European culture and tradition, with a particular emphasis on the cultural heritage of Ukraine, Belarus, and Poland. The published texts also concern studies in the field of applied, historical, comparative linguistics, as well as translation studies. As a journal devoted to philological studies of Russia and Eastern Europe, we highly value interdisciplinary research, covering the connections between literature and visual culture of the mentioned area, which distinguishes us from other periodicals of a similar profile. The journal publishes thematic issues, for which we invite an international group of scientists specializing in a given subject, post-conference issues, as well as those created thanks to our continuous, open call for texts for publication. "Studia Rossica Posnaniensia" constantly strives to make the journal a dynamically developing platform for knowledge exchange, both for experienced scientists and young researchers, including those outside Europe. We publish materials in Russian, English, Polish, and German, which guarantees the journal's recognition in Slavic studies circles worldwide. Thanks to this language policy, we constantly cooperate with foreign reviewers in the process of evaluating articles for publication, which allows us to ensure the quality of publications and guarantees the dynamic development of intercultural dialogue.
