Ilha do Desterro publishes unpublished articles and reviews in the areas of English Language, Literatures in English and Cultural Studies. It is a journal of the Graduate Program in English: Linguistic and Literary Studies of UFSC, with continuous publication from January 2024. Its main mission is to circulate the results of academic research in the areas of English, Literature and Cultural Studies. The journal publishes mixed and/or thematic volumes, with articles and reviews in English and Portuguese.
