Acta Cirúrgica Brasileira, fundada pelo Prof. Saul Goldenberg em 1986, é o periódico oficial da Sociedade Brasileira para o Desenvolvimento da Pesquisa em Cirurgia (SOBRADPEC). O periódico conta com um Conselho de Consultores Nacionais e um Conselho de Consultores Internacionais. É o único periódico publicado continuamente em língua inglesa dedicado exclusivamente à cirurgia experimental na América Latina.
