Aims & Scope
Ideas y Valores is an academic publication of the Department of Philosophy of the National University of Colombia. Founded in 1951, it has provided a space for the publication and dissemination of philosophical research conducted in Colombia and other Spanish-speaking countries. The journal publishes articles, reviews, and discussions in various philosophical areas and traditions. Occasionally, translations into Spanish of classic philosophical texts are also published. With the support of guest editors from the academic community, the journal also publishes special issues on a particular theme, tradition, or author.
