Aims & Scope
La Revista Turismo y Sociedad se ha consolidado como un espacio académico que privilegia el debate, el intercambio de ideas y de posturas frente al turismo como fenómeno complejo aprehendido desde una mirada interdisciplinaria. La revista contribuye al análisis de dos ejes fundamentales del sector: los territorios y las empresas. Territorios entendidos como espacios naturales, culturales y simbólicos, y las empresas prestadoras de servicios turísticos que hacen parte de la cadena de valor. La revista es de circulación nacional e internacional y está dirigida a académicos, investigadores, especialistas y estudiosos del turismo; a distintos actores del sector –planificadores y empresarios del turismo– y a todos aquellos interesados en conocer al turismo como fenómeno multidimensional para quienes constituye un instrumento de consulta.
