Nuevo Foro Penal pretende difundir investigaciones y estudios sobre Derecho penal, el proceso penal, la ejecución de penas, el sistema punitivo y los mecanismos de control social en general. La revista Nuevo Foro Penal pretende publicar artículos inéditos, traducciones, ensayos, comentarios a jurisprudencia y reseñas bibliográficas, que preferentemente sean el resultado o el avance de investigaciones, dentro de su área de interés. Pretende ser un foro de discusión interdisciplinar e internacional para abordar los conflictos en esta área del derecho.
