Aims & Scope
The journal's main focus is on research papers on the languages of the Indonesian region, but submissions of research dealing with neighboring languages are also welcome. The publication targets manuscripts written in English, and manuscripts translated from other languages into English. Papers are peer-reviewed by two anonymous reviewers. NUSA aims to contribute to the 'de-Westernization' of linguistics, while also aiming for research that has value beyond the framework of language typology and Indonesian linguistics.
