Aims & Scope

The Annals of Dentistry, University of Malaya (Ann Dent UM) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and evidence-based practice in dentistry, oral health, and craniofacial sciences. The journal publishes high-quality original research articles, systematic reviews, narrative reviews, case reports, clinical studies, technical reports, and other scholarly contributions that promote innovation, education, and excellence in oral healthcare. The journal welcomes submissions from researchers, clinicians, educators, and healthcare professionals across a broad range of dental and oral health disciplines. Manuscripts should contribute to the scientific understanding, clinical practice, public health, education, or technological advancement of dentistry and related fields. During manuscript submission, authors are requested to identify up to three subject areas that best reflect the content of their work. These classifications assist the Editorial Board in assigning appropriate reviewers and managing the peer-review process efficiently.
