Aims & Scope
Wieś i Rolnictwo is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed scientific journal published continuously since 1973 by the Institute of Rural and Agricultural Development of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Wieś i Rolnictwo is an open access quarterly. Publishing, reading, and downloading articles is free of charge - subject to copyright. It publishes the results of original scientific research in the field of social sciences. The aim (mission) of the quarterly is to contribute to increasing knowledge and better understanding of the transformations occurring in economies, local communities, cultures, rural and agricultural space; achieving progress in defining and recognizing the manifestations of rurality in the contemporary world; as well as stimulating debate on the shaping and implementation of agricultural and rural policy and discovering new dimensions of the relationship between humans and the natural environment.
