Aims & Scope
Ageing International provides a publication venue for international scholars and researchers with a particular focus on caregiving, cognitive impairment and dementia, long-term care, and intergenerational relationships. The journal welcomes rigorous qualitative and quantitative methods, systematic and scoping reviews and is dedicated to improving the life of ageing populations worldwide through providing an intellectual forum for communicating common concerns, exchanging analyses and discoveries in scientific research related to the journal's focus areas, and offering recommendations in ageing-related service delivery and policy making. The journal encourages submissions of high-quality research and review papers. The journal welcomes special forums and special issues from different disciplines presenting regional perspectives as well as providing more comprehensive analysis. The editors strongly believe that such discourse has the potential to foster a wide range of coordinated efforts that will lead to improvements in the quality of life of older persons worldwide. The Journal seeks to bring together researchers, policy analysts, and service program administrators who are committed to reducing the implementation gap between good science and effective service, between evidence-based protocol and culturally suitable programs, and between innovative solutions and generalizable policies.
