Aims & Scope
The journal is double-blind peer-reviewed and indexed by Scopus and the Emerging Sources Citation Index. This makes Bulletin KNOB the magazine of choice for publishing articles that augment and enrich scholarly knowledge in the fields of architectural and building history, urban planning history, cultural landscape, and heritage. The independent editors are responsible for maintaining its high academic standards. As the oldest national heritage organisation in the Netherlands, the KNOB stimulates the exchange of scientific and policy knowledge in the field of spatial heritage. In order to achieve this goal, the KNOB publishes the Bulletin KNOB. In addition, a number of seminars on various (actual) topics are organised each year, often combined with excursions and in cooperation with organisations and university institutions working in the above-mentioned fields. The KNOB also stimulates young academic talent with the KNOB incentive prize. The Bulletin KNOB has been published by the KNOB since 1899. Bulletin KNOB is a respected scholarly journal that appears four times a year and is recognized in the Netherlands and abroad as an important source of knowledge in the field of spatial heritage.
