Focusing on the biotic controls on environmental chemistry and the geochemical control of ecosystems. Publishes original and synthetic papers on biogeochemical cycles from molecular to global scales. Studies of both natural and artificial ecosystems contributing to a general understanding of biogeochemistry and coupled interactions of element cycles.
