Die Zeitschrift Standort bietet eine multidisziplinäre Plattform für alle Fachthemen der angewandten Geographie und verwandter Fachgebiete. Standort ist die Mitgliederzeitschrift des DVAG (Deutscher Verband für Angewandte Geographie e.V.). Standort ist in Europa die größte Fachzeitschrift für angewandte Geographie. Standort gibt Studentinnen und Studenten der Geographie Orientierungshilfen durch die Analyse des Arbeitsmarktes und Berichte aus der Berufswelt. Standort informiert regelmäßig über relevante Veranstaltungen (im In- und Ausland) mit angewandt geographischem Bezug. Standort ist damit fach- und berufsfeldübergreifendes Diskussionsforum für alle Themenbereiche der Angewandten Geographie.
