Estudios de Asia y África es una revista interdisciplinaria en castellano dedicada a la historia y a las ciencias sociales, económicas y políticas, así como a los estudios culturales de los pueblos de Asia y África. Publica artículos de investigación de estudiosos hispanoamericanos, asiáticos, africanos, europeos y estadounidenses para lectores de México, América Latina, la península ibérica y el resto del mundo, evaluados por un mínimo de dos pares, doble ciego. Asimismo, publica artículos de actualidad y traducciones de textos en lenguas asiáticas o africanas, evaluados también por dos pares, así como artículos-reseña y reseñas, evaluados por un par.
