Estudios de Cultura Maya is a semiannual publication dedicated to the dissemination of research focused on the Maya area. It is the official communication organ of the Center for Maya Studies of the Institute of Philological Research of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, its printed version is distributed in Mexico and abroad, in addition to also being published in open access digital format. It welcomes original, unpublished articles that are not being considered in other publications, both research articles and archival documents provided with introductory studies, reviews of recent books and in memoriam. It publishes articles in Spanish, English, French and Mayan languages.
