Estudios de Historia Moderna y Contemporánea de México is a semiannual publication of the Institute of Historical Research of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, published since 1965, dedicated to the history of Mexico and occasionally Latin America between the 19th century and the more recent past. It includes original research articles, historical essays, a section of commented documentary transcriptions, as well as critical reviews of publications within its field.
