Aims & Scope
Treballs de Sociolingüística Catalana stimulates and reflects research in sociolinguistics, understood in the broad and integrating sense that has characterized it in the Catalan-speaking countries. Therefore, all unpublished articles in the fields of language sociology, language anthropology, variationism, social psychology of language, language policy and planning, and language law, etc. are welcome in the journal, especially those referring to our linguistic area and language normalization processes, preferably in Catalan. The target audience of the journal includes both sociolinguistics specialists, both inside and outside university settings, and citizens interested in deeply understanding the sociolinguistic situation in our countries.
