About the Journal Jurnal Studi Al-Qur’an (JSQ) is an international peer-reviewed journal that advances research on the Qur’an with a focus on educational transformation and teaching practices . Accredited with SINTA 3 Decree Number: 204/E/KPT/2022 (3 October 2022), Jurnal Studi Al-Qur’an (JSQ) aims to provide an international platform for scholarly discussion and research on Qur’anic studies with particular emphasis on educational transformation and teaching practices. The journal is published biannually by Institute for Research and Community Service, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia. The journal seeks to explore how the Qur’an is taught, transmitted, and applied across diverse educational contexts, highlighting both traditional and innovative approaches. JSQ aims to foster global dialogue on the transformative role of the Qur’an in shaping pedagogy and educational philosophy. SCOPES JSQ invites contributions in English and Arabic that address, but are not limited to, the following areas: Transformative Qur’anic Education: The Qur’an as a source of values, ethics, and educational transformation in contemporary society. Teaching and Learning Practices: Pedagogical models, instructional strategies, and classroom innovations in Qur’anic education.
