Aims & Scope

The journal Technische Mechanik publishes refereed original articles on Engineering Mechanics in its broadest sense. It is intended to provide a forum for a rapid transfer of research results to industry and science. In that sense contributions are encouraged which demonstrate the practical application of new results and scientific findings. The journal publishes scientific papers from the entire field of mechanics; i.e. all branches of theoretical and applied mechanics including related fields of study.
