Aims & Scope
Droit et Cultures is an interdisciplinary journal focused on legal phenomena. The idea of law, rights, and the law only makes sense in reference to a system of values, norms, and cultures that reveal dynamic forms of social or societal organization. Cultures, social and political organizations, and legal systems, in their diversity, invite us to rethink models, categories, and classifications. The challenge for Droit et Cultures is to move beyond reducing the legal phenomenon to a single version and to promote a pluralistic reading of cultural facts; it involves apprehending the representations, discourses, and practices of actors. Droit et Cultures thus welcomes any reflection related to these processes.
