Aims & Scope

Journal of Refrigeration (Bimonthly), founded in 1979, is a national first-class academic journal supervised by China Association for Science and Technology and sponsored by Chinese Association of Refrigeration. It is publicly distributed at home and abroad. Journal of Refrigeration aims to promote the progress of refrigeration science and technology, cultivate refrigeration scientific and technological talents and serve refrigeration and related fields. Over the years, it has maintained a rigorous and realistic tradition of running journals and strictly controlled the quality of manuscripts. The published papers aim to reflect the new scientific and technological achievements, new technologies and new methods in refrigeration and related fields in China. The publications covers many disciplines related to refrigeration technology, such as engineering thermophysics, power mechanical engineering, energy and power, thermal engineering, refrigeration and cryogenic engineering, ventilation and air conditioning engineering, food packaging and storage, and cryogenic biology. The readers and authors are scientists, experts, teachers and students from nearly 700 scientific research institutes, universities, enterprises and institutions engaged in refrigeration related research. In addition, Journal of Refrigeration also serves more than 650 unit members and nearly 30000 individual members of Chinese Association of Refrigeration. Since its inception more than 40 years ago, with the support of readers and authors, and the joint efforts of all previous editorial committees and editorial departments, Journal of Refrigeration has been developing continuously, and its social impact has become increasingly significant, ranks first among Chinese refrigeration and low-temperature journals, and is included in the databases of major Chinese core journals and other international databases, such as American Chemical Abstracts (CAS), Japan Science and Technology Promotion Agency Database
