The South African Journal of Enology and Viticulture (SAJEV) is an open-access journal which publishes full-length original Research papers, Research Notes, and Review Papers on the following topics: Viticulture and Vineyard Systems (vine, berry, soil physiology; plant–environment interactions; climate change impacts; sustainable vineyard management) Plant Genetics, Protection, and Health (grapevine and berry genetics; fungal diseases, pests, and integrated plant protection) Precision Viticulture and Smart Farming (viticultural techniques, environmental sustainability, AI and digital tools in farming) Oenology and Winemaking Sciences (winemaking practices, process engineering, distillation, novel and alternative production concepts) Grape and Wine Chemistry & Biosciences (chemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, and biochemistry of grapes, musts, and wines) Analytical, Sensory, and Consumer Sciences (analytical methods, sensory analysis, marketing, and wine economics)
