Aims & Scope
Sri Lanka Journal of Social Sciences (SLJSS) was launched in 1978 as a premier social science journal in Sri Lanka. The journal publishes social science articles in Sinhala, Tamil and English languages, on topics relevant to Sri Lanka in particular and South Asia in general. All papers are subjected to double-blind peer-review. The journal provides open access to all its articles through the Sri Lanka Journals Online (SLJOL) forum. All articles in the journal are published under the Creative Commons License ‘Attribution-No Derivatives - CC BY-ND 4.0’ since 2018, SLJSS is indexed in SCOPUS and ESCI. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
