Aims & Scope

Journal of Ethiopian Studies (JES) is the first and the oldest academic journal in the entire history of Addis Ababa University, established in 1963 with the aim of conducting, promoting, and coordinating research and publications on Ethiopia, with particular emphasis on humanities, social sciences and cultural studies.
