Folia Histórica del Nordeste publishes original research works in the field of social and human sciences, based on or articulated around regions of the Argentine Republic and its adjacent areas. Special attention is paid to the so-called "transition zones", such as the Gran Chaco, which includes territories of Argentina and neighboring countries. The topics covered include historical, social, cultural, economic, political, and educational aspects, as well as other specific fields of social and human sciences. Studies proposing comparative regional analyses are especially valued.
