Aims & Scope
AREA is a peer-reviewed publication through the double-blind system. It publishes articles on general research topics that involve an original contribution to the discipline or corresponding field, as well as participating in special topics presented in Dossier, which will be announced in each call. The works must constitute unpublished material in the language of publication and must not be submitted simultaneously to other journals or editorial institutions. The main language of the journal is Spanish, although original articles in Portuguese and English are also accepted. In all cases, articles must be accompanied by a list of keywords and a summary of approximately 100 words, in both cases in the original language with its corresponding translation into English. If the original language is Portuguese or English, the summary must also be in Spanish. In special cases, and with the author's approval, translations into Spanish of original articles in another language will be published. The journal also publishes reviews of books, journals, and/or audiovisual/documentary productions that fall within the mentioned themes and objectives.
