Aims & Scope
Ciencia y Sociedad is a journal with a clear inter, multi, and transdisciplinary vocation, which collects the scientific production of INTEC, as well as academic institutions from the Dominican Republic, Latin America and the Caribbean, in addition to research work on this region of the world generated in other academic spaces. Ciencia y Sociedad focuses on Social Sciences and Humanities; therefore, its thematic lines value contributions from communication sciences or communicology, archaeology and ethnography, political sciences and public policies, multidisciplinary links between science, technology, society and environment, gender studies, Latin American and Caribbean history and literature, governability and governance, sociology, cultural studies, linguistics, philosophy, studies on religion, anthropology, social psychology, works on visual arts and other topics within the field of social sciences and humanities.
