Aims & Scope
The journal publishes articles concerning language culture and the biological conditions of speech development and disorders. The description of language norms and language disorders covers the linguistic (humanities), psychological and pedagogical (social sciences), and clinical (medical sciences) perspectives. The journal is interdisciplinary. The aim of the journal is to publish original works in the field of broadly understood logopedics, linguistics (general, cognitive, sociolinguistics, semantics), glottodidactics, and related sciences (psychology, pedagogy, and medical sciences). The thematic scope of articles published in "Logopedia" covers all leading research trends, and each volume of the journal contains articles by authors who, representing different scientific disciplines, develop the state of knowledge about language, speech, and speaking from the perspective of various theoretical concepts, using appropriate methodologies and the latest research tools. Individual issues of the journal are characterized by a coherent thematic structure and a fixed formal structure subordinated to the subject of logopedic research. The structure of each volume includes scientific articles of a theoretical nature (review and conceptual works) and practical nature (results of empirical research and diagnostic-therapeutic procedures for individual speech disorders). Case studies (results of empirical research and diagnostic-therapeutic procedures for individual speech disorders), discussions, and reviews of single- and multi-author monographs in the field of logopedics and related sciences are also accepted.
