Aims & Scope
This journal stands as a qualified and innovative forum for the study of contemporary societies and a key publication for Italian sociology. The oldest and most widely read sociology journal in Italy, it aims to provide space for outstanding articles from all sociological perspectives, both theoretical and empirical. To maintain this legacy, the Journal looks at theoretical and empirical contributions on relevant social, political, economical and cultural issues, both as realted to the italian and the international reality. It furthermore provides a wide and rich offer of books reviews and critical assessments on Italian as well as on international production. In addition to these conventional sections, Rassegna Italiana di Sociologia publishes interviews and debates contributing to a sociological public arena to which contribute the most distinguished authors. This is a four issues Journal, two of which regularly edited on special issues by outstanding scholars on their field of interest.
