Aims & Scope

Founded in 1951,Živa Antika(“Living Antiquity”) is a peer-reviewed academic journal open to original research in all areas of Classical Studies and Antiquity broadly conceived: Greek and Latin language and literature, philosophy, mythology and religion, ancient history and archaeology, art, architecture, and material culture, from the beginnings of classical civilisation to the sixth century AD, as well as later receptions and influences of the classical world. Finally, we publish epigraphic, numismatic, and archaeological studies that make a significant contribution to the philological and historical study of the periods and regions covered byŽiva Antika.
