The Boletín de Filología of the University of Chile is a journal of the Department of Linguistics of said university dedicated to the publication of original scientific articles in Hispanic linguistics and philology, and is open to the most recent developments in the theory and methods of language sciences that have an impact on studies of the Spanish language. In addition to original articles, ranging from brief notes to more extensive articles, it receives works that report on the state of the art in a given linguistic topic and book reviews.
