TheAustral Journal of Veterinary Sciences(AJVS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, non-profit academic journal by the Universidad Austral de Chile that publishes original scientific contributions in veterinary sciences, covering a wide range of topics, including animal welfare, pathophysiology, epidemiology, zoonoses, animal production, public health, wildlife, and other subjects. Since its founding in 1969, AJVS has worked continuously to maintain high-quality publication standards and best editorial practices, providing support to authors throughout the publication process. Currently, the journal is transitioning to a complete digital publication model, and working towards enhancing readers’ experience.
