Aims & Scope
Espace populations sociétés is a multidisciplinary, international and thematic journal. It is open and intended for scientists whose research themes cover the three keywords that make up the title. In addition to its thematic issues, the journal regularly publishes spontaneous articles in varias. Demographic differentiation and social differentiation of configurations, practice or experience of space, spatial differentiation of populations, societies or social groups, the interweaving of social, demographic and spatial phenomena and their interactions constitute objects of study for geographers, demographers, sociologists, ethnologists, historians, political scientists, economists… By bringing together in the same publication the work conducted on the same theme by researchers from different disciplinary and geographical backgrounds, espace populations sociétés aims to offer the structure for encounters and exchanges necessary for improving knowledge in a field situated at the crossroads of several social sciences.
