Aims & Scope

ISSN 1688-9339online versionISSN 0797-0374printed versionISSN 2301-1947 (Ed. in english) Odontoestomatologíais the official scientific publication of the Faculty of Dentistry, University of the Republic, Uruguay, and the Uruguayan Society of Dental Research. A founding member of AURA - Uruguayan Association of Academic Journals, it is published by the Publications Unit of the Faculty of Dentistry and adheres to the philosophy of open access and double-blind peer-reviewed journals. Odontoestomatologíadoes not have associated subscription or payment fees for viewing full-text publications, nor for publishing. The contents of the publications, in Spanish and English, are free of charge, with no embargo period. Editorial production and translation costs are not transferred to the authors. Starting in 2021, the journal adopted the practice known as continuous content publication, the main objective of which is to accelerate the process of communicating research and thus contribute to its immediate availability for reading and citation. In this modality, articles are published online as soon as they have been evaluated, corrected, and edited. Objectives: To publish original articles related to Dentistry and related specialties. To share the quality scientific production of Uruguayan and international authors. Target Audience: Academics, Educators, Researchers, Professionals, Technicians, and Students in the field of Health Sciences.
