Aims & Scope

Nordic Concrete Research Journal aim is to publish reviewed papers on research, recent experiences, and education within the broad concrete field. The scope covers all aspects of concrete and other cementitious materials, e.g., materials, design, construction, assessment, maintenance, repair, strengthening, dismantling, and recycling. ... Nordic Concrete Research Journal (NCR Journal) aim is to publish reviewed papers on research, recent experiences, and education within the broad concrete field. The scope covers all aspects of concrete and other cementitious materials, e.g., materials, design, construction, assessment, maintenance, repair, strengthening, dismantling, and recycling. The scope is limited to papers that have a Nordic context or connection, e.g., through the Nordic organizational environment conducting the investigation, affiliation of any of the authors, or if the subject of the paper is devoted to any specific Nordic circumstances such as geographical, geological, or organizational ones. The primary target group of NCR includes researchers and other professional stakeholders within the concrete industry and its supply and value chain. The Nordic Concrete Federation (NCF) which is publishing the bi-annually publications Nordic Concrete Research Journal (NCR Journal), is a collaboration organization of the concrete associations in the five Nordic countries, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. "Nordic Concrete Research” is sponsored by the national Nordic concrete associations and industry and has no article processing chargers (APCs) nor article submission charges. The submitted articles will be organized for peer-review by the chief editor. No articles will be available until the official publishing date.
