Aims & Scope

Jurnal Filsafat (JF) is a scientific journal that was first published in 1990 by the Faculty of Philosophy, Universitas Gadjah Mada, as a forum for scientific communication, the development of philosophical thinking, and research in philosophy. The primary criterion for publication in Jurnal Filsafat is the significance of their contribution to philosophical literature and the rigor of analysis and presentation. As per January 2023, we only accept manuscripts that are written in English. Jurnal Filsafat is published twice a year, in February and August with ISSN: 0853-1870 (print), and ISSN 2528-6811 (online). The entire editorial workflow in Jurnal Filsafat is performed using the Open Journal System (OJS) 2 which is an open-source journal management.
