Physiological Research (online ISSN 1802-9973) is a peer-reviewed Open Access journal published bimonthly online by Institute of Physiology, Czech Academy of Sciences. It publishes articles on normal and pathological physiology, biochemistry, biophysics, and pharmacology. Thanks to the dedication of our reviewers and contributors, Physiological Research has achieved a new milestone, reaching our latest Impact Factor of 2.8 and successfully securing a firm position in the Q2 quartile: The Impact Factor of Physiological Research was 2.0 (June 2025).Its current value is 2.8 June 18, 2026.
